How to Install Tor on Ubuntu 20.04

Step 2: Now update the package lists.

$ sudo apt-get update

Enter your password to permit the packages update.

Step 3: Use the PPA repository for adding the Tor browser on your Ubuntu 20.04.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:micahflee/ppa

Enter your password to permit the packages update.

Step 4: Now, Install the launcher package of the Tor Browser by writing-out the following command.

$ sudo apt install torbrowser-launcher

Press ‘Y’ to continue the installation process.

Step 5: You can open the Tor Browser by searching it manually in the ‘Activity’ search bar.

Here comes the first view of the Tor browser which you will see only in the first interaction.

Let the download complete. After that click ‘connect’ to connect your system to Tor Browser.
